Sizzling Summer Recipe: Jalapeño Cilantro and Lime Butter Corn

Summer is in full swing, and what better way to celebrate than with a fresh, zesty, and flavorful recipe that will tantalize your taste buds? This month, we are thrilled to introduce a mouthwatering dish that brings together the vibrant flavors of jalapeño, cilantro, lime, and the umami-packed goodness of Yeshi Original Yeast Flakes. Get ready to savor the deliciousness of Jalapeño Cilantro and Lime Butter Corn! 🌽🌶️ ✨





Ingredients (Serves 4)

JALAPENO CILANTRO AND LIME BUTTER CORN

 

  • 4 ears of fresh corn, husked 

  • ½ cup vegan margarine or butter 

  • ½ cup YESHI ORIGINAL YEAST FLAKES

  • 1 fresh Jalapeno plus their seeds 

  • ½ lime (juice)

  • 1 teaspoon lime zest 

  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro 

  • ½ teaspoon salt 


Directions 

 

  1. Prep the corn. Husk the corn and remove any silk. Rinse and pat dry.

  2. Place vegan margarine or butter into a small bowl

  3. Finely chop the Jalapeno 

  4. Finely chop the cilantro 

  5. Zest the lime 

  6. Squeeze juice from ½ of the lime 

  7. Add these ingredients along with all the other remaining ingredients to the margarine or butter 

  8. Mix well to combine. Place desired amount onto your cooked corn on the cob and enjoy!
