Yeshi Gourmet Caesar Salad (Gluten-free and plant-based!)

This mouth-watering Caesar salad is plant-based and gluten-based! Complete with homemade croutons, it's unbelievably delicious. Vegan lovers rave about our plant-based Caesar! We've had people tell us that they've tried every plant-based Caesar dressing out there and ours is by far the best one. We love this Caesar as is, and because Yeshi is made with nutritional yeast it has 4.4 grams of protein per serving, but this salad is also great with fried tofu. Try marinating your tofu in Yeshi Caesar Dressing as well!

Yeshi Gourmet Caesar Salad


Ingredients

  • 1 head of romaine lettuce

  • 2 cups of your favourite gluten-free bread, cubed

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons of Yeshi Roasted Garlic & Parmezan Nutritional Yeast Flakes

  • 1/2 cup Yeshi Caesar Dressing

  • 1 lemon, quartered

  • Dairy-free parmesan for sprinkling on top


Directions


Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl toss the cubed bread with olive oil until well coated.

Step 2 Sprinkle Yeshi Roasted Garlic & Parmezan Nutritional Yeast Flakes over the bread and gently toss.

Step 3 Spread bread cubes evenly on a baking tray in a single layer and bake for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden and crispy. Gently toss half way through baking time.

Step 4 Wash lettuce and place in a bowl. Drizzle with Yeshi Ceasar Dressing and gently toss.

Step 5 Gently squeeze lemon over lettuce or add as a garnish.

Step 6 Once croutons have cooled slightly sprinkle them on the lettuce and top with parmezan (or extra Yeshi Roasted Garlic and Parmezan Nutritional Yeast Flakes!)

Step 7 Enjoy!
